Poem for my son, Saxon

My tribute,

My Son,

The time has come

His will be done

God forever took my son.

I know he's in a better place,

I know he's in God's good grace.

But

Here at home are all of his things,

His photos, his clothing echoes of his voice as he sings,

Sadly, all are just bittersweet memories for me.

My tears flow steadily like a stream

How I wish it were all a dream.

The time will come

His will be done

I will rise one day

just like the sun.

I must accept the things I cannot change

And remember that heaven is in my range.

The time will come

His will be done

I will one day

rejoin my son.
